Congratulations on super FD's for this time of year. I especially like your DS CaK disc with the spicule fringe and proms. Does your DS unit have the Lunt B600 and B1200 housings linked or have you removed the CaK filters for stacking?

The 1A filter DS stack certainly give fabulous images, are they now becoming available from Alluxa and Chroma or only by special order?

Brilliant comparison images but puzzled by rationale of putting the PST 2.2 A CaK filters between the Alluxa and Chroma 1A filters.

The radius of the ring is consistent with the reports of Rast and co workers in the references cited earlier. It is difficult to directly compare your image with those shown by Rast et al because of the...
