Orion is currently suing Celestron for the same reasons. Celestron is equipped financially to fight back, Meade wasn’t. There is no telling what’s going to happen to the Coronado brand. words cannot express the utter amazement we experienced watching the Northern lights this far south in the United States. We were 600 miles South of the predicted visibility oval.

Meade no longer exists also so there is zero chance of getting it repaired by Coronado. Orion is just selling off all backstock now as “Meade Acquisition Corporation”.

just an opinion but you’d be way better off dumping the Quark and getting a real solar telescope and then a second etalon. By the time you get done, you will have spent the same money.
