One trick that I use to calibrate mine is to "carefully" shine a laser pointer on the slit as a reference: the red ones are around 650 nm and the green ones are about 532 nm.

Hi Rainer, I use FirecCapture with an ASI1600MM on the Sun as well. I suggest that you reduce the gain to 0 and adjust the exposure for a good histogram. Hi Chris,

If you are asking about the settings to colorize a monochrome image in CaK, here is what I use in Photoshop CS2: Adjustments/Color Balance, then I set Cyan to -75, Magenta to -100 and blue to +25. Example attached.
