Finally I caught it, the clouds actually played nice and parted just in time :) The Ha version didn't work out as well as the CaK, the frame rate was a bit slow for the magnification used. Re: Question regarding Point Grey Chameleon3 with IMX265 mon
Torsten has modified the DLL's to allow FC to run in Mono mode instead of raw. Gamma will now work in FC 2.5 with a slight drop in FPS.
The DLL's can be downloaded here https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/firecapture/files

First light with my new camera
While the Grasshopper is on holiday in Canada (repairs) I splurged out on a 2nd Pt Grey camera. I went for a Chameleon3 (IMX264) 5mp mainly for doing that night time stuff but also the price. It does allow me to do fully disk solar now but does have those pesky newton rings that no amount of tilting...

Re: Question regarding Point Grey Chameleon3 with IMX265 mon
I have just got a Chameleon3 (IMX264) and have noticed the same thing. It will work in FlyCap2 if you change the video mode to mono instead of raw. Gamma works fine in Genika, I suspect FC is setting the mode to raw instead of mono. I have seen your post in the FC forum and have added what I know, h...

Hi Alexandra
I can't help with your camera issues but the dual window in FC can be fixed by going into setting, layout, tick use single window. It is much better with just one
