I used Topaz AI on my best shot (version 2 first here) and tried Topaz. It's clean and a bit artistic for me, is it too much for the purists ?

Hi thesmiths, I used my Televue 85 with a 0,8x reducer (f/5,6) and a Canon 60D, on a motorised equatorial mount. I used Magic Lantern intervalometer to take 12 bracketed pictures at each session. I just press the remote button to start the session every 10 minutes, so I could talk and enjoy the ecli...

Good idea Brian but here in Sherbrooke, Quebec, we got 3 min 25 sec. of totality. I can't miss it so we will decide to leave by car 48 hours before....

Sorry a bit late to respond....I use a standard SKyWatcher 254mm f/5, I added a Televue 3x barlow. There is also a ZWO focuser.

I got a great surprise with this .avi file this morning (90fps for 42 sec.).
I kept 100 of them and I don't know why, it was my best ever. All the others where quite 'normals'.

I tried with my ASI294 mono binned 2x2 with RVB filter form Astronomiks.
I calibrated each color the best I could naturally, as any planet.
There is some color on the penumbra but it's not any science for my.
