Re: The difference between CaK modules

I am interested in both visual and astrophotography. A few years ago I was looking through Lunt CaK and you could see details, although the image was dark - it was a bit like observing a deep sky object.

The difference between CaK modules

There are 2 types of CaK modules https://www.astroshop.eu/mounted-glass-filters/lunt-solar-systems-filters-ca-k-module-with-6mm-blocking-filter-in-star-diagonal-for-2-focuser/ p, 15925 https://www.astroshop.eu/eyepiece-side-filters/lunt-solar-systems-ca-k-module-with-2-6mm-blocking-filter-in-extensi...

Re: DayStar ST 60/930 SolarScout SS60-ds H-Alpha OTA

Thanks for the answers. In the cheapest version of the Solarscope, however, the Quark cannot be twisted. Therefore, I will not buy it.

Thanks for the answers. The seller withdrew. I will be taking the new 50mm Lunt.

Solarmax 60 + BF 15mm

I have the opportunity to buy Coronado Etalon 60mm + BF 15mm. Will such a set + refractor give the same image as a regular Solar Lunt / Coronado 60mm telescope? Or maybe we can somehow use a refractor with a larger diameter - maybe this etalon could be given somewhere at the beginning or in the midd...

Re: DayStar ST 60/930 SolarScout SS60-ds H-Alpha OTA

I found the manual: https://astronomyplus.com/wp-content/up ... Manual.pdf This Quark can also be used in another refractor only that it is smaller than the standard Quark.
And in Canon 550D I would probably get a full disk.

DayStar ST 60/930 SolarScout SS60-ds H-Alpha OTA

I am thinking of buying Daystar Solarscout https://www.astroshop.eu/solar-telescopes/daystar-st-60-930-solarscout-ss60-ds-h-alpha-ota/p,59709 , It is cheaper than Lunt and Coronado, the disadvantage is the long focal length and it can be a problem how to get the whole shield visually and photographi...
