Ken,
Thank you for your valuable information.
I was python‘s user long time ago.
I will understand the procedure of the soft.
Next time I will try this.

Optical path is as follows;
Front red filter 80mm F/6 telescope
Binoviewer 70mm F/6 collimator
Slit width is about 10 microns.

Re: Solar Spectroscopy
Very impressive !
I try to get good spectro-heliogram again.
Quiet sun has gone.

Re: Coronagraph
Andover Corporation makes semi-custom interference filters.
However, it exceeds 2000 dollars at 25 mm diameter 0.5 nm.

Re: Coronagraph
Thank you for your reply. Of course, coronagraph and prominence scope I understand the difference. I can't observe the corona with Pic du Midi. The scope with the interference filter removed is a complete coronagraph. I would like to see prominence in a wider range of wavelengths. I used a blocking ...

Coronagraph
I am making a prototype coronagraph.
However, I have not obtained sufficient results.
The filter I'm using now is Andover Corp's 10A H-alpha.
Does anyone know of a company that sells filters of about 5A?

Re: Protuberance approach vs. Coronograph
Very interesting!
1.5A interference filter is not suitable for mirror coronagraph.
Perhaps 10~5A filter OK.
But It's difficult to get one. Some amateur spent about EURO3000.
I seeking cheap filter recently.
