Question on sunspot polarity
Looking at todays solar images from SDO I see the sunspots in AR 2953 and 2954 in the NW have the same polarity as the sunspots in AR2960 in the SE. It was my understanding sunspots had reverse polarity in opposite hemispheres.
Can someone enlighten me?

More work or just not thinking about orientation? It really does not take much time to correct. Most software have flip image options.
