I especially like the HA mosaics.
With Ha etalons there doesn’t seem to be quality guaranteed no matter how much you spend. My Solar Spectrum RG isn’t very uniform.

I agree that a 200-250mm would have a greater market. I do have an interest though. And it seems that continuum and Ha would be more realistic to make use of such a scope. Getting consistent solar seeing of < .3 arc” to properly use the scope for Ca K is in reality a rarity on the planet. In answer ...

Those are some very nice images. Well done. As far as the origin of prominences, prominences can originate from active areas, but they can also originate from quiescent areas (Quiescent prominence). The magnetic field lines that support prominences are all over the place, not just extending from act...
