Hi Everyone, Please find attached the solar powerpoint that was used for the presentation. Sorry for the delay in getting it up here, initially wasn't able to upload a powerpoint, but Stephen has altered the forum rules to make it possible. Hope is of interest - it was to our students. Article has n...
Is this achievable by mating up readily available step up / step down rings? Could you use one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260776776229?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 on the t-thread end Then depending on whether you want a male or female m50 pitch on the other end either ...
That's so weird Mark, we are so alike it's scary :) It will be a trade in so the garage can have the problem. We've never needed the boot rack, we must travel light as even Eurocamping in France we even had enough space for the PST and many bottles of wine. It's going to break my heart though all t...
Hi Brad, Sadly I have never been to Montana but I would love too. Montana is my little 10 year old car, but sadly my husband thinks it too old so I think it will be gone by March. Then what, do I need to change my name? http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexandra4/6159116819/in/set-72157628535629359/lig...
Not tried it, however have heard a few people say it's more sensitive in Ha so they get shorter exposure times... You could get shorter exposure times by just removing an ER... (sorry, i'll stop it!)...
[quote] In avistack you can select 'minimum area' in the frame stacking stage and it remove this artefact. Thanks for the tip! I need more of these stacking process tips for sure! Avistack in this situation only stacks the areas that occur in all frames that are being stacked, so your final image m...
Hi Merlin,
I typically have an exposure of around (can't remember exactly) 1/60-70 for SS and when I double stack the PST I go down to 1/25 or 1/19 or thereabouts for surface detail.
Mark, at this stage I'm not prepared to dismantle one of the SM60... I was wondering though...could it be my exposures are so affected by the tuning I apply between the double stack filters? I really do spend a lot of time setting each filter and then working them together to get the "best" narrowb...
Yeah, completely agree with Walter - when you look at the orginal and look at the outcome it is very surprising! I should have a bit of time this evening to have a play with this and see what I can get - I did try briefly late last night, though my mind was more geared towards sleeping at that point...
Well, it's taken me nearly a week of tweaking and twiddling but i can confidently say that with the raw data I get out of avistack, using the smart sharpen method I am getting reults that is equally comparable to that that I get from Registax. I am hoping with a bit more perseverence on this I might...
