Interesting, so you get more contrast with the filter at f10 rather than f15? You could tilt the filter in the f15 setup to bring the contrast back.

Make a 40mm aperture stop for the AT72 James, you will get more out of the filter yet - more contrast to get yet.

Excellent results Oleg, your CaK filter seems to be nicely onband in that f10 scope. Some good contrast and detail there.

Simple answer, no. I have the same equipment. You can use a reducer on the nosepeice of the camera though.

I've not used Pixlinsight, or the solar tool kit with it. so are not familiar with the associated settings and twiiddlings, but certainly with the full disks I would look to sharpen at a smaller kernel size / pixel radius.
