Narrower bandwidth and higher focal ratios will generally exacerbate the problem. And it will be different for different cameras. So putting on the DSii will usually make it worse, and putting on a barlow will make it worse.

I also had that happen and Lunt sent me a new BG glass.
Mine clouded over after I had left the scope outside on a high heat and humidity day. At the time, I wondered if condensation was the cause of the crud.
