Thank you so much everyone. I appreciate the encouraging comments.

Alexandra, penumbral details in fact are how I judge the levels of sharpness and resolution of an image. They are also a good reflection of seeing conditions.

These images were taken on the 7th of October, except for the last one which was acquired on the 6th (worth scrolling down for). The seeing on the 7th was highly variable, whereas on the 6th it was excellent. These are stitched mosaics and single framed shots. The variable seeing prevented me from d...

Alexandra, your prom animation blew me away. I love the fact that you are getting both disk and prom details. I was thinking of doing the same for future prom work. However, it only works for the brighter proms.

Amazing detail Frederic! The filter seems to be exceptional. These are rather expensive but worth the price for the dedicated amateur!

Very nice detail. Really love it. I know how much work goes into this type of animation! Regarding even illumination across frames, I have a technique which I would be glad to share when I get home from work and access my Photoshop.

Lovely images Mike, particularly the last one. The prom reminds me of a slow-motion milk drop. I know what you are saying about opportunities. I make extra efforts to take advantage of them, but my sessions always feel a bit rushed because of it.
