Yes, this is from a new all-in-one SHG, with longer focal length than before. Hope it can give better spectral resolution.

Re: Coming back...
Which file format and what size do you need?
As far as I remember, I was using an external library for avi format which cannot handle larger size files.
Then a newer version could handle mono-color ser files without problems (I guess).

Re: Coronado PST Etalon tuning anti-slip bearing modification
The PST uses compression tuning. The Teflon ring in the chamber is the main point of pressure. The silicone ring ( the orange foam) is designed to smash the etalon until it comes into tune. Since it never compresses evenly the silicone ring is trimmed and cut so that it applies pressure as evenly a...

Amazing what you have accomplished, Wah! Your latest result is easily as good as Druckmuller’s famous pictures. Your Photoshop technique seems related to some of the multiresolution wavelet sharpening methods available in some image processing routines. Have you tried any of these? Cheers. Peter. I...

You cannot use the "difference" option in layers to finish the task. 1. Duplicate the original image as another one 2. Radial blur the original image 3. Use new image to subtract the blurred image with 128 offset (gray) 4. Copy the subtracted image to clip board 5. Restore the original ima...

I only could see proms above the limb, but couldn't see special features on the disk.
I think it was because they need ultra narrow bandwidth.
