That's a wonderful assembly you've got going on there Antonello !! Re: Double stack or refurbish my Daystar Quantum?
All depends, George. Not all etalons (or their stacks) work same nicely as, for example, your setup. I never was able to get a good result with double stacking of my two Quarks (with several other etalons). In the same time Mark Townley always reported that his stacking - Quark + PST work just fine...

For me in Solar visually ... Bandwidth rules and not aperture ... Like everything it's
quality over quantity ... my preference would be toward pre Meade Coronado filters or even Solar-Scope if possible ... a Lunt 60 with an SM 60 should be great though.

I think its a case of riding this one out to see what folks think of the new H-line
Certainly their current (more expensive ) H-lines are also rated at 5.0A so there's
got to be something in it ... most likely best suited for visual use.

Agreed ... 50/50 , 60/50 , 60/60 there's little actual gain in visible resolution.
You've got to up the aperture big style to see anything really different.
but then as I keep saying is upping the ap a real benefit/improvement at all ?
