Merlin66, I have been waiting for Surplus Shed slit for several months... I will try the blades with magnet later. The collimation for this toy is not so easy, the sharpness of the spectrum lines are not good and not even, I think I will try to use laser light to help collimation later. Can you send...

I don't know how to make a good metal slit, so I just use a piece of paper to make a temp slit.
I think I will find a metal one and replace current slit.
I got a 30mm x 30mm grating from a China surplus shop and don't have its detail spec, I guess around 600g/mm
