Nice results Paul! You can see the results of the sweetspot of the larger scope with the full disk where it is brighter and goes off band.

A nice set here Dave and promising results! I've not used Pixlinsight, or the solar tool kit with it. so are not familiar with the associated settings and twiiddlings, but certainly with the full disks I would look to sharpen at a smaller kernel size / pixel radius. When the kernel size is too large...

Hi Rob Welcome to the forum. I wouldn't really get hung up on the math of it, you are not critical imaging rather just showing passers by a view on a monitor. If the sun fits on the chip then that's all that really matters in this instance. If you want to improve things down the line, I would recomm...
