Exactly as Mark has said, would or could you donate something to the CBSAP/SolarChat October Fund-Raiser to help cover the costs of running this website for your advertising - please ??

When posting on solar forums, I recommend you mention the sensor tilt adjustment feature prominently.

Hi,
I saw this cameras one or two weeks ago and wondered ... WTF has Apollo to do with the Sun as they are advertised as Solar Imaging cameras
The real an only ancient Greek Sun God is Helios ...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helios
We have a Heliostat but do not have an Apollo-stat
This cameras are made by Sean Wang, a former collaborator of ZWO Imaging cameras ...

Re: Focus on Solar imaging: Solar camera series IMX432/174/429 released!
I did also wonder the same point Rainer, but as I also did some research into the background of both "Player One Astronomy" and the new SolarChatter as "MoonPrince" who are both clearly connected in some fashion or other from a Chinese location as "SuZhou, China."
Then it makes sense for those two, to try and utilise SolarChat for an apparent "FREE" advertising campaign - with impunity...
Unfortunately there has to be a charge/donation/sponsorship - for such misuse for commercial-purposes for this type of activity on SolarChat, for which some of us are already paying...
So perhaps, if these commercial-advertising concerns would like to contribute to the "SolarChat Fund-Raiser" by contacting in the correct way for the relevant-permission - before pushing their products here, then that would be polite and far-more acceptable...
The name "Apollo" also rings bells here too...

Re: Focus on Solar imaging: Solar camera series IMX432/174/429 released!
As far as I am concerned there are no 'Silly Rules' that state vendors can't advertise their products. In fact it is good to have these people about and their knowledge as with Mark W, Frederic, Rupert from Astrograph etc They are all very welcome to chip in. However, in the 'Silly Rules' it states that just because they are here doesn't mean CBSAP endorse their products, buyer beware. It is nice to keep the forum as free, easy and friendly as possible, unlike other forums.
PS Apollo is someone else entirely, he doesn't live in China

Interesting cameras, would these work well also as guide cameras?
(I own an IMX462 planetary camera at the moment)
Cheers,
N.F.
