Hi!
My current solar setup is the following: Lunt 100 PT DS and a DMK51 B/W camera. My seeing is not very good (3-4 second of arc) and to beat the turbulence I would like to invest in a camera with a faster frame rate (my current rate is 12 fps). I like to image both closeups and whole disk images. But if I have to choose I will prefer a camera for closeups and then take mosaics for the whole disk.
From my market research I have found that Point Grey is a candidate, but I am open for other alternatives. At this stage, the price tag is not the biggest issue. First I would like to hear your opinions and experiences regardless of price.
