cool idea.. but after trying 4 different quark chroms im actually happy to have one that actually works as intended..
what a gamble it must be if you have 2 etalons in on kit..
any news about quality control for the quarks?

they didnt break.. first one i only saw a tini spot with contrast, rest was bright and blurred. second was better, but half of the field was with good contrast, the rest with bad. #3 was very bright, not much structure to see either. #4 was an 3 year old second hand one.. perfect contrast at almost the entire field. hope it will survive some more time : )

i have to add: before the #4 customer support at daystar told me i am using a wrong diagonal and didnt want to exchange. had to sell it and buy the second hand one.. finally happy with it.

scope>diagonal>quark?
how can that affect the quark? it'd make more sense if he said you attached it to a 120mm without uv filter which fried it
