I read your post and wanted to ask you about using the B1200 with the Lunt 50THa. I own the Lunt 50 with the B600 blocking filter. I would like to know what advantages you see when using the B1200 with the Lunt 50. For imaging, I find the B600 is fine. However, I am also using my binoviewer with the Lunt 50. I find that the view has less contrast and brightness than I would like. I was wondering if the larger blocking filter of the B1200 would help provide a brighter view with more contrast. I had asked Lunt about using the B1200 with the Lunt 50 for binoviewing, and Lunt told me there would be no advantage versus the B600. But I have read on this forum that using a larger blocking filter can be beneficial for binoviewing.
I would really like to hear your comments about why you prefer the B1200 to the B600 for your Lunt 50. Thanks.
