X-mas sales. Large ERF and D-ERF filters by ARIES

Post by Valery »

Hello, solar friends

We have several larger ERF and D-ERF filters for Christmas sale. We kept them at the stock till the X-mas
sale came all over the world.

We offer these filters at a great discount. Don't miss this opportunity to equip your scope(s) with such a filter(s)
and obtain the possibility to be fully armed for solar visual and imaging works. Larger telescopes with such apertures
will allow you to find a lot of interesting details and events even at a quiet sun. Even if no spots on the sun, you will
still be busy with observing and imaging of numerous other details and events on the sun - active megnetic areas,
mini-flares, mini-jets and mini-surges. Even smaller prominences will appears large enough to see fast changes in them.

Our D-ERF filters for 8", 9" and 10" telescopes will allow also to image the sun not only at H-a, but also at three more wave lengths -
at Ca K and Ca H in UV and at a G-band at 430nm.

At either Ca K and Ca H lines one can image spots, supergranulation, magnetic fields disturbances (bright hot areas) and
finally solar prominences in these lines. Note, that angular resolution at these wave lengths is about 1,7x larger than at
traditional H-a and an 200mm scope will equal to a real giant of 340mm aperture which works at 656nm H-a!!!

At G-band one can image granulation with even higher contrast than at 540nm (traditional for solar photosphere imaging).
In the addition to a higher contrast, one can easily image a Ferrum pores in the intergranulation areas - the features which
are a subject for scientific researches. As far as I know only Christian Viladrich (France) imaged these short living solar features.
Now you can do the same with additional small 1 - 10nm narrow band interference filter centered at about 430nm (inexpensive
accessory).
At this wave length one will get about 50% higher resolution than at traditional 656nm (H-a). Your 200mm telescope will equal
in resolution to a 300mm scope which works at 656nm!!!
