Solar Eclipse Casper Mountain Wyoming.

Post by edobosz »

Well this was the best of 4 eclipses I have witnessed. Amazing temperature drop at 2500m (8,130 ft) and the extra altitude gave a feeling of excellent clarity for viewing the corona. I am still on our long road trip through the US and Canada and don't have the gear and software to process my RAW's. The attached is an overcooked stack of 7 jpeg shots to bring out the coronal streamers and field lines. Hope to do better when I get home with the RAWs.

Ted

The look of this reminds me of the famous photographer, Ansel Adams. If he were to photograph an eclipse, it would almost look like this.
