Arch Prominence

Post by Martin_S »

The sun was quiet yesterday, a small active area and a few prominence's. There was a type "E" Arch Prominence which I imaged in 30 minute intervals over 1 1/2 hours as it started to break up. My Solar Guider is in transit from the USA so I can start experimenting with time lapse animations.

It is amazing on how the sun changes in so short of time. The arch prominence is an excellent example of that. Wonderful photography Martin!
