Full disk 09 February 2020

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Beautiful blue skies with Rainbow clouds passing by ...

The spot at about 45° in the Northwestern quadrant seem to be a cycle 25 spot as it has Neg / Pos polarity according to what I saw in the SDO magnetogram image of today :?:

It is terribly difficult to focus the White Light image with no details on the surface of the Sun

Thanks for looking and as usual open in new Tab for full size.

Great discs Rainer, your contrast with that DS shows off the sweet filaprom!

Very best,

Superb images Rainer, and the filaments/fila-proms are especially sharp :bow

A beautiful southern polar crown filament is developing, what a beautiful picture to see it orientated in tilting Sun. This shows where the new cycle activity is. We haven't seen a good polar crown yet so far, this seems to be the most developed yet, fabulous!! :hamster: :bow
