AR2758 HA & CaK | March 11th 2020

Post by MalVeauX »

Heya,

I had decent seeing this morning, around 1.2~1.4", so was able to capture some interesting bits in AR2758 in HA & CaK. Seeing dropped rapidly after that, just after 11am Eastern Time as my mid-day seeing started to become apparent. The sunspot is gone, AR2758 no longer has a visible umbra really, but the activity in the chromosphere both in HA & CaK is still quite lively with things to see.

Marty,
Your images always have much to show. Putting the Earth to scale shows how big those " tiny " solar features really are!
