Solar animation 13/04/2020

Here's my latest solar animation .A 1 hour time lapse animation, imaged on Easter Sunday with My Lunt 60mm single stacked solar telescope.This time In processing I blacked out the disc to highlight the prominence features.

H alpha : ,Skywatcher 120mm F8 open frame refractor, a tilted 2" 7nm H-alpha filter as a sub energy rejection filter, Baader TZ4 telecentric focal extender, Player One energy rejection filter, Combo Quark Chromosphere, Naked PST etalon for double stacking, ASI74mm camera

Mark, I used Irfan View and batch processed 72 frames, then used Gimp to blacken out the disc.

Wow! what a fantastic animation Martin :bow :hamster: always amazes me how the flow of plasma is always downwards (we rarely see it go upwards).
