Interesting but faint prominence from today, 04-21-19

Post by AJamesB »

First off, want to say thanks to everyone here and their input during my scope and camera shopping, and for links/resources on processing! Tons of great knowledge here, thank you for sharing it.

Had good seeing today, and noticed this interesting prominence when overexposing with the camera. Given the quasi-flat arm I thought initially it might be an artifact or reflection, but it turned out to be legit, and fun to image/look at. It wasn't visible when just visually observing, and given it took a hefty overexposure to see it I almost missed it.
