May 1st & 2nd AR2760 + Prom

Post by Astrophil »

Yesterday and today were clear and good for imaging. I continue to follow the active region 12760 as it makes it's way across the disk. Two shots from the first of May are presented and one from the second of May. A nice filaprom on the SE limb was captured also. The 6" Mak, Solar Spectrum (SO 1.5 0.3A), and PGR Grasshopper GX camera were used for the images with the exception of the filaprom. That image used a Quark Combo along with the Solar Spectrum etalon.

Excellent results of these sessions, Phil!

Thanks for sharing.

BTW. What the exposure time was when you imaged with DS ?

Really excellent images, Phil.

Please can you post one or two for a 'processing challenge', like Valery does?
