2020-05-28 - AR's (old and new)
After a week or so of cloudy skies, the sun has finally made its return. Fairly windy today (seems to be a theme lately), but overall seeing was actually pretty decent. As such, I decided to take out the bigger scope and see what I could make of it.
When looking at the disk, the "old" AR about to rotate out of view and the one freshly rotating into view draw the attention obviously. A few smaller proms in the vicinity as well, but couldn't really get a capture of those that I'm happy with.
Setup:
CaK: 80ED (stopped down to 60mm), Lunt CaK b1800, IMX178
HA: 150 f8 achromat, Baader 35nm H-Alpha as sub-aperture ERF, Quark Chromosphere, IMX174
Thanks for looking!

Excellent Jochen and who knows, Sun-spots and other decent surface detail and proms have to start somewhere, so why in places we can see in the 10-day period...

Absolutely stunning Jochen, my favourite has to be the new AR close up, wonderful feathery texture, beautiful!
