All,
Today I had a sunny long-awaited observing session that lasted from 10:00am to 4:15pm EDT ( US ) ending only when the sun became hid by trees. The temp reached about 80 degrees F midday. The seeing was decent early but degraded fast to horrible later on. I even tried my hand at a little DSLR solar photography. I also found out that a friend of mine has gifted me and ordered me a Sony Monochrome USB video camera to use with my scope. Now I will have to get me a laptop to use with it. My desktop would only suffice if I had a permanent observatory.
Coronado SolarMax II 90DS 32x 44.5x 64x 100x 133x ( Ha )
I see 4 major prominence groups today. One group is near a new plage on the northeast approaching limb. Another on the southeast side looks like a jet with tripod legs. On the northwest departing limb I see a filiprom that is a part of a hedgerow group. That group grows as the day wears on as the filiprom rotates more to the limb and is seen more as a full prominence. A loose fainter group is seen on the southwest limb. I see during the day other small proms come and go. The spicule layer is seen decent early on but within an hour and a half into the session seeing obliterated it to a barely visible blur around the limb. The limb views were mainly in SS mode.
Double stack showed two filaments. One the before mentioned filiprom and another tiny spotlike one that barely shows up on the Learmonth GONG image. Two active area plages visible. One easy and fairly large near the northeast limb. The second is fainter and near the southeast limb. The Spicule filigree mottling covers the disc but even it is reduced by the poor seeing later in the day. I didn't see any flares like occurred yesterday.

Two active area faculae visible. One corresponding to the Ha plage is seen near the northeast limb shows considerable detail looking like a bright multiple " S " or zigzag shape. A tiny spot or pore is seen within it! The green Baader continuum filter makes this really easy to see. A second patch of faculae is seen corresponding to the Ha plage near the southeast limb. It is considerably fainter than it's northern counterpart. Early on fine granulation is seen across the disc before seeing completely wiped it out later on.
James
P.S. I can see far more than my pitiful images show.

Good report and nice images James. Imaging with a DSLR is Ha is not easy at all.

Re: May 30 2020 Observations
Thanks you guys. And you are right. I just never could get a sharp image with the Nikon. And the poor seeing even made it worse. I may be getting a video-type usb camera very soon. That should hopefully put me on the right track as a budding solar imager.
