Thanks for your kind compliments, Peter, Rainer, Eric, James, Arne, Frank, Terry, and Franco

James, I have read about Ellerman Bombs but am still not too sure how to identify one with certainty :)

Hi, Alfred

I really like the fine texture in your image of the current AR.

Thanks Lou and Jack for your kind compliments.

My images tend to be soft and flurry because I like them that way and also because, at this point, I am not prepared to spend too much time on it.

I have received much support and also suggestions to improve. With his permission I am posting 2 other versions done by Eric. These 2 images show more details compared to mine. Do enjoy them and give your comments as well:

A special thanks to Eric for taking time to improve the images and give them other perspectives.

Looks great, Alfred. Seems to see you've got that setup working very well!

Regarding the processed images; it's always gonna be a matter of personal taste really. Out of the three, the first one in the post above is probably my favorite (although the other two are excellent as well).

Ellerman Bombs are tiny micro-flares. Still much bigger by many magnitudes compared to any nuclear detonation on Earth.
