Full disk 06-07-2020

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Here the discs from today. Just decided to image at the correct hour as after closing the roof the clouds suddenly rolled in :o

Not much for a narration today. The big filaments in the Northwestern quadrant still there.

The filament from yesterday in the Southeastern quadrant has become bigger and yes the Sun moves at about 15° per 24 hours  You can see it clearly when comparing yesterdays image with the grid with todays image with the grid. See attached image

Some perturbations on the surface of the Sun but nearly no prominences on the limb.

When I took the videos the Sun already had its axis tilted to the East at an angle of +0.07°

As usual best seen in a new Tab/Window for full size. Thanks for looking :bow2
