AR12770 at last

Post by RodAstro »

Hi all

Finally a reasonable image, had a lot of cloud and haze here at the best times to image.
So have just been doing visual, anyway yesterday was just thick haze but it was boiling away, very unsteady.
I decided to have a go and got this image from a 1000 frame capture using 250 frames in fire capture.
Only processing was with ImPPG.
Very pleased with it for the conditions I had.

Image train+ Zeiss 150mm F15, Pixco reducer, Quark from DS60 SS, 2x barlow, ASI174.

Thanks all it's nice to be getting some decent images again, I could do with sharper skies though.

Cheers Rod

One of the most interesting ARs I have seen for some time - I spent a couple of hours looking at it today. Your image does it justice.... thanks for sharing.
