Jet transiting the sun today 11-28-2020
I decided to image the sun today since AR2786 is making such a showing. I didn't think I'd have much to share but then this happened.

Hi,
Excellent capture. This is seldom at my area as we have not much plane traffic here.

Thanks. I live almost right under the downwind leg for McCarran airport (Las Vegas, NV) so I see the shadows pass overhead all the time. I one time before caught a wingtip but this is my first really nice capture of this type.

Always a thrill to see something pass in front of the disc while observing / imaging. I have an airport about 30km away & when I hear a jet I always press record - more misses than hits though!

An excellent capture of either a Boeing 737 or Airbus type 9which can be ascertained from the captures and also noting the vapour or hot-air disturbance from the starboard-engine which even shows the rotation of the jet-turbine.
I've got a photo of the Sun's shadow of an aircraft I was flying - does that count ??
Thanks vm for the post.

Probably a 737. I believe it was a Southwest flight.
