haze and fog long live the Ha !!! March 4+NEW color

Post by banjo »

Hello,
in view of satellite images and Météoblue , I installed the equipment and all day it is not discovered
but I didn't really believe it, I run the acquisitions automatically and the result is more than remarkable given the conditions,
the Ha would be the secret boot (well with the 150mm at the 60 it was pretty bad)?
to give an idea of the transparency, for the surface usually gain = 50 speed 4.5 / 6.5ms, on these sockets gain = 99 speed 10ms
Paul

Great proms!

Call me Geoff.

I do what I do because I want to, and because I can....

Doesn't mean I know what I'm doing, though!

That's quite some impressive shots for those kinds of conditions, Paul.

Very nice work Paul!!!
I have the impression that the mist has stabilized the temperature and calmed the turbulence.

to give an idea, usually for the protus I am at 180 in gain and 10ms, there it is 303 and 10ms, the advantage is that the haze calms the turbulence instead of stacking 50i by .Ser I was able to take 400 in 16bits for #2 prom's, suddenly the dynamic goes up and for processing I only took the .tiff sharpened 50% of AS! And made tone / light dark and an emphasis on the softer and auto contrast on the harder.

The wind was gusting around 25 / 30kmh on my hill and I was in the shelter on the eq8 it helps a bit when it is oriented well, but it is a disaster when it is full sun.

a brute exit from AS! for this one retained only 111 images on stacking

Well done Paul, absolutely exquisite prominence imaging :bow :hamster:
You get far better results on a bad day than I do on a good one :)
