We have a nice juicy prom today and an active region that is in view with a sunspot.
Wasnt able to do white light since seeing was just below average. We had rain passing through and the ground was still wet. The evaporation was causing this upwards rippling which was annoying.

Very nice resolution here!! I noticed on GONG that a nice prom was on the NE limb but an overcast cloud deck keeps my scopes at bay.

Hi Simon,
Excellent resolution of the fine details. It is still there as I am watching it at the moment live.
The height according to my calculation is about 87,000 km or 54,000 miles more or less 7.25 Earth diameters
