Impressive prom 15April2021

Post by Merlin66 »

While test the latest "flat correction filters" (improved results to come later!)
Quick look around the edge showed the brighter prom and small column from yesterday had developed....
Even under my mediocre seeing conditions (wild and windy) it looked pretty good.
Enjoy!

That's a familiar color scheme :) ! I was busy today and it was mostly cloudy anyway so I did not get any solar time in. Thanks for the view. Nice image!

Alexandra, et al,
Thanks for the kind words, really appreciated!
I do realize that my conditions are not optimal to getting great resolution and detail.
I can only hope my meagre efforts encourage others to try solar imaging.
