Hello everyone!
Just wanted to share what I was able to capture during the handful of days that I have managed to use my new solar scope
After reading all I could find on the potential of the SMII 90 scope, I still couldn't believe what I was able to capture despite having no experience with it. So far, I found that the SS configuration is superior with the prominences while the DS works wonders with the chromosphere.
The animation of the prominence is heavy as it covers more than 4 hours....here I am attaching a single frame and below here is the link to a low resolution post on spaceweather: hope it works

Welcome to SolarChat
I agree, SS for proms and DS for the chromosphere

Re: Coronado SMII 90, SS and DS results
I remember this prom!! I have a SMII90 as well. I certainly would say SS for prominences and DS for chromosphere though brighter proms show up quite well in DS.
