Some may find the picture of the Carpet Python with the Flying Fox distressing. This is what I encountered this morning.Alexandra the birds in that collage are a White Browed Scrub Wren and a Pheasant Coucal.

Re: Morning Snaps
Nice set again, Derek. Been doing a bit of casual birding myself again lately.
Quite happy we don't have snakes over here. While they're fascinating animals and I consider myself not too squeamish at all; snakes just don't sit right with me

Re: Morning Snaps
Oh dear! poor batty but I guess that is life and the Python had to eat. We sit in our garden most nights watching our bats but they are all tiny compared to yours.
Some beautiful pictures of life in all its glory.
