Here are a series of images over the past 2 weeks from the upstairs bedroom window. I used Pro digital Star Spikes to make the planets more visible.

and today a Christmas flower. We actually had a frost overnight, I think the first time it has been cold on Christmas day for a long time. It froze my flowers in the garden.
Merry Christmas

Re: Jupiter and Saturn conjunction
Hi Alexandra,
These are some well nice images and with the star-spikes actually enhance them. Perhaps they should be called planet-spikes, but non-the-less are
excellent with the clear blue evening-sky too, which as something itself - has been something of a rarity recently in the UK.
Thanks vm for the excellent effort.
Happy Xmas.
Terry

Re: Jupiter and Saturn conjunction
Hi Alexandra...
I love the series of images that cover the conjunction I have had very few clear nights of late and missed all but the 19th.
Too bad your flowers got frost, but the pic is very pretty

Re: Jupiter and Saturn conjunction
A beautiful set of images, Alexandra. You did really well getting so many clear nights. We only saw them on 24th walking the dog. All other nights had clouds in the wrong place.
I brought my Bonsai trees under cover to protect them from the frost terrified of getting them frost damaged as they are around 40 years old from my father. The garden plants had to just fend for themselves
