January 10th - Frost and Grey Skies

We had a thick blanket of fog before sunrise this morning and with the air temperature around -9C I was expecting a thick frost to coat everything. The fog lifted faster than I thought and we only had a light frost form on the vegetation. It was still rather pretty and the pics look as though they are monochrome ;)

A walk down the road to the neighbours has a snow capped line of straw bales:

There were few birds around the feeders today, and only caught pics of a Chickadee and a Nuthatch:

Ah!! these made me smile which is what it is all about :hamster:

I'm guessing White breasted Nuthatch and Black-capped Chickadee (trying to learn).
