Re: roll-off-roof observatory | Pedro RE'
Thank you Pedro for the fab videos.
The RO/RO roof is so simple to to use and compared to mine is just absolutely fab, as your weather is usually too.
(Mine though, has to be able to carry the total-weight of the tri-scope assembly on occasions from the mount to a moveable trolley, which is far easier than having separate and re-aligning the three scopes etc... There is a winch-pulley system in place from the roof structure, which was part of the original design..)
Regards
Terry

Re: roll-off-roof observatory | Pedro RE'
Thanks Terry
The roof of the second roll-off is very light and simple to use. My older roll-off, built in 1978, has a heavier roof that is not easy to move.

Pedro...
The videos of your roll off are great to view. You are fortunate that your roof structure is so light... I need more structure to carry the snow loads. Frost over the years has heaved some of the structure of the large roll-off and a winch is needed do roll it now (23 years in use).
