Sunset Visitors

Post by MapleRidge »

Hi everyone...

I was clouded out for the closest separation of Venus and Mercury on Friday night, but managed to get some images tonight with clear skies. Mercury was difficult to see visually due to haze along the horizon, but it cam out in the images well enough. Just prior to taking this image a flock of geese flew past Mercury and were still in the shot on the far right.

Nice capture, Brian.

Mercury is always a tricky one indeed.
