Good morning all...

Mostly overcast today so solar isn't starting off very well

While Sandy and I were having our coffee on the front patio after breakfast were had numerous visitors around the bird feeders. A collage of the visitors is posted below:

The rabbit was an early visitor. Not brave enough to come out when there is anyone around in the yard...I shot that one through the living room window. It is usually accompanied by several chipmunks and squirrels that clean up the spilled bird seed.

Beautiful captures Brian ! Love the hummingbird shots: I have a feeder out but very few sightings so far. You have a lovely yard, must be nice to have breakfast there.

Thanks Franco!

Sandy puts all kinds of time and effort into the flowerbeds, which I'm sure helps attract the birds along with the free buffet we offer them ;)

Wide assortment of visitors there, Brian.

Nicely captured as well. Thanks for sharing it.

Fabulous images Brian, of course the rabbit is my favourite (being a bunny freak). I'm trying to test myself and I feel sure of the Red-winged Blackbird, but I know I should know what the top left is but can't remember. It will come to me, why am I so hopeless at learning these days. No idea what the Hummingbirds are or who is mid bottom, is that a female Northern Cardinal?

I saw a Hare on a walk on Saturday, what a magnificent animal, no picture just a good memory.

Alexandra...

The birds in the pics are to my best estimation as follows:

All the hummingbirds are female Ruby Throated Hummingbird (might be the same repeat visitor to the feeder or different ones).

The upper left pic is a male Baltimore Oriole.

The birds n the mid right and bottom centre are male and female Brown Headed Cowbird, respectively.

You got the Red Winged Blackbird too.

I knew you'd like the bunny ;) We haven't seen any young rabbits around the yard, but the adult in this pic is rarely seen in the day. Usually see it under bird feeders at night all year round.

We have hares, but i don't see near as many as I did on the farm as a kid. Coyote population increase may be responsible, but they ares till around.
