Re: Sunset from the city park
These are so beautiful, thank you for allowing us to join your evening walks the first through the pine is gorgeous
Your grass is very brown, looks like it has been dry for a while. It is only 12 degrees here in the UK, the usual grey and miserable day which can happen in July or December, it is always the same but with a slight variation in between. That's why the weather causes so much chatter in the UK, when the slight variance from the norm occurs we all exclaim our surprise

Nice photos, Ivan.
All part of global climate change, unfortunately. I understand parts of the US are in severe drought at the moment, with record breaking high temps. As Alexandra says, we’re back under cloud/rain here in most of the UK.

I'm glad you liked it. We had an extremely hot (for our latitude 57.3 °) 8 days. And although the plants in the park are watered, the grass is still dry.
But there was a downpour at noon today. and urban plants and trees will feel better.
12 degrees is cool, of course. According to statistics, we have 80 sunny days a year, mainly in the summer months. All other days are cloudy, it rains in autumn, snow usually falls at the end of October.

Re: Sunset from the city park
Thanks Stu,
I also think that this is changing the climate. Temperature records are updated annually. Our winters have become much milder, and although there is still a lot of snow, there are almost no severe frosts when the temperature drops below 20 C °.

Re: Sunset from the city park
If you live at 57 degrees north, have you spotted the noctilucent clouds? they have been very beautiful from 20-23rd June? please post if you see them. Sadly we have too much cloud here which is disappointing.

Re: Sunset from the city park
Yes, I saw them in the northern and northwestern parts of the sky around 23:00 local time, an hour and a half after sunset. But, unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo. Next time I will definitely do it.

Thanks for confirming your location Ivan...nice to have an idea where everyone is located
I hope you get some pics of the noctilucent clouds to share. I am at +44 lat, so not the best to view them, but had great views for hours on a flight across the Atlantic to Scotland in 2019. I was hoping for aurora, but got treated to these clouds instead.

Unfortunately I have no photographs of noctilucent clouds. I've seen them quite a few times, but I've never photographed them. As soon as they appear again, I will definitely take some photos.
