Some of my DSO work

Post by minhlead »

I just happen to notice that there are a section where you can post your DSO works beside solar.
So here's mine recent pic, just wanna share with you guys. I am imaging from center of a megacity (Ha Noi- Capital of Vietnam) I am right in the middle of a Bortle 9 area and I got a few 50 stories LED towers that keep blasting ultra bright ads all night long and I am using an OSC so the result might be a bit underwhelm. I'm an avid visualer for about 10 years before getting into imaging. Just got into imaging DSO about a year and a half and solar for about 3 months.
Hope you like it. Cheers!

Very nice results, Minh. Even more so considering the location (light pollution), although smart use of narrowband imaging can fix a lot (as is apparent from your work).

Thanks, Jochen. Without narrowband filter there would be no astrophotography in my location at all.
