Hi
The session was to compare the 90mm 600fl and 3x ED Barlow 8mm front baffle with the 127mm 950fl and ES 2x Tele-extender with 10mm front baffle.
Both with 2" 35nm ERF up front of the diagonal stopped down to 1.25 extension tube.
10.00 BST 90mm 32mm SP
12.00 Gong Learmonth 1.30 Left-right mirrored
Big hedge base prom with top leaning left. Diffuse filigree. Small diffuse jet under at left.
02.00 Seperated jet leaning down Spicule at base. A jet down at 45deg from the middle.
03.15 Small diffuse jet.
08.00 Little jet leaning up
11.00 Fine jet leaning up
11.30 Tiny jet with a spicule above it.
11.45 Fine jet with spray top
10.20 BST Switched to 25mm Fuiyama Ortho with occulting segment. Finer detail in 1.30 Gong prom.
12.00 Round tree prom. Mushroom 5deg up to the left diffuse. Filigree detail. Jet out of left 5deg up to left. Little dumpy prom under.
02.00 Sector of circle seperated leaning down 80deg with extension to bottom of sector. Hint diffuse prom above.
03.00 Small jet.
10.50 Switched to 127mm with 2x ES Tele-extender. Bit of haze round the sun, baffling?
02.00 Wide base Dove Tail prom bright jet at the middle top. Extension up 45deg to left. Dim jet point left under left of extension.
03.00 Seperated bar jet with slightly flared top.
04.00 timy little prom with blob over
08.00 Tiny spike
Apart from a bit more glare in the 127mm, maybe haze at the time, the views were comparable.
Cheers. Andrew.
