Full disc 09-04-2021

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Sunshine and very warm.

In White Light it looks like 6 months ago. Just blank.

In H-alpha some very nice prominences and filaproms around the limb, The filamente has grown up to about 185.000 km in length.

Tested NAFE but no improvement in my full disc image. Result looked even a bit worse, more grain or noise.

A strong Ha disk, Rainer. Very detailed. Are you going to watch NEAF online tomorrow ?

Hi Franco,

Let me find the link and see what is going on.

Thanks

I forgot about NEAF 2021 also.

Rainer, you did much better than me today. My images sucked overall. After several days of fair to good seeing I chose to image on a day where the seeing pretty much sucked. Most of my stuff got canned. Not a one of my disc shots turned out. They were nothing AviStack wavelets or GIMP could sharpen. I barely got some of the proms.

Thanks for the excellent views my Takahashi-wielding friend.

James
