Have spent a few days further equipment testing (the Quark not always easy to master) but today some lovely sunshine and some solar activity. Spent a few hours taking images and another 2 hours of image processing time. Still not sure if I found the correct tuning for the Quark)
These are some of the images of today. All images in original orientation, north up.
Quark Chromosphere @ f25.8 in 80mm refractor. Camera: ZWO ASI120MM-S set to 2xbinning.
Prominences:
AR2582 - 2583
AR2581
AR2580

Paul

Nice work on the prominences around the rim.
Nice delicate detail.
The spots are a bit noisy. Is that from binning?

Thks. No it is not noise from the camera. Think I just overdone the Lucy-Richardson deconvolotion. Sometimes difficult to get the correct amount of sharpening in combination with balancing contrast/light. Did not notice it earlier. Will need to re-process.
